Creator Tips

Every user gets a public tip page at `/tip/[handle]`. Supporters can send tips via card, M-Pesa, or bank transfer with a few clicks.

Professional Invoices

Build line-item invoices and share a `/pay/[id]` link. Clients pay online without needing an account.

Multi-Currency

KES, USD, and EUR supported out of the box. Fee structures stored per-currency and configurable by admins.

KYC Verification

Legally required identity verification (KRA PIN + national ID). Admins review and approve/reject submissions before creators can send invoices.

Custom Appearance

Creators customise their tip and invoice pages: accent colour, hero patterns, card/button styles, cover image, invoice logo, custom titles, social links.

Payouts & Settlements

Funds flow in, hold for fraud detection, then pay out to the creator's own bank or M-Pesa. No on-platform balance — only transaction history.

Key Providers

Paystack

Payment provider for all transactions — tips, invoice payments, and KYC fees. Handles M-Pesa, card, and bank transfers with webhook-based charge.success verification.

Convex

Real-time backend and database. Stores users, invoices, tips, KYC records, currencies, payouts, and audit logs. All queries use indexed access for performance.

Resend

Email delivery for tip notifications, invoice payment confirmations, KYC submission alerts, and payment reminders. All emails are logged to the audit trail.

Transparent Fee Model

Fees are stored per currency and configurable by admins. Platform and Paystack fees are calculated automatically with configurable caps.
